An authentic guitarist like no other on the modern scene; Julia Malischnig is an internationally famous artist who celebrates music and life with her work. Her music carries an emotional depth and resonates with sensual strength. She has composed a number of original pieces and internationally performs a wide variety of music ranging from classical to Tango and Jazz. More and more she is developing her interest on working with other artists in all kinds of genres and on composing her own music. In additional to her body of work she is the founder and artistic director of the International Guitar Festival La Guitarra in Millstatt in Carinthia, South of Austria and of the International Guitar Festival La Guitarra Erl at Festspielhaus Erl in Tyrol, West of Austria.
