JULIA HARNONCOURT 
Activist. Scientist. Feminist.

The research of Julia Harnoncourt mainly focuses on different factors of inequality, labour, migration, racism, slavery, and colonialism, with an interest in power generation and reproduction as well as resistance movements. She has been an occupational guide for refugees and the coordinator of the project work:in at the NGO “Vielmehr für Alle!”. She published articles on racism, resistance movements against colonialism, more recent social problems, for example the living situations of refugees in Austria as well as a book compiling different feminist texts. Today Julia is a research associate supporting projects such as minett-stories.lu a virtual exhibition that explores the history and identity of the Minett, a mining region in Luxemburg and writes articles on historical migrant life-stories in the interwar period for the newspaper Luxemburger Land.
