ANA TOPALOVIC
Musician. Multicellist. Composer.

Ana Topalovic sets no limits for herself as a cellist, a feminist, a mother, and a performer. Since her first public appearance at the age of ten, Ana Topalovic has performed regularly at renowned festivals and concert halls: Vienna Konzerthaus, Vienna Musikverein, Salzburg Festival, Berlin Konzerthaus, Gasteig Munich, Tokyo Opera City House, Centro Cultural Kirchner, Kolarac Hall, Carnegie Weil Hall and many more. She has performed in twenty-nine countries on 4 continents. Her repertoire ranges from solo literature and chamber music to interdisciplinary and contemporary music with electronic sounds. More recently she has been collaborating with all female composers to elevate the work of women in classical Música and as a mother she is strident in defending her rights to work.

The meaning of life is something we create ourselves, each for themself. Mine is to make people happy and fulfilled through music.

As an artist and educator, I see it as my responsibility to teach people about a world in which prejudice, apathy, egoism have no room, and to show that such a world is possible.
