It is precisely this meta-level that interests me as a composer, this intensive listening, this contemplative immersion in the vastness of a landscape.

As a composer, my approach to nature has found great resonance worldwide. I was commissioned to compose the choral work “Peace” for the European Peace Concert in Leipzig 1813-1913-2013. My success in Japan was crowned by the anniversary commission for Japan-Austria 1869-2019, premiered in Japan with members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
