Devoted to contemporary and improvised music, Anna Koch is an Austrian clarinet player with a truly playful mind and an urge to explore the gamut of both her instrument and her imagination. As a member of numerous ensembles, she knows how to blend in, however she is just as confident on stage all by herself. Her eclectic compositions are frequently accompanied by funky videos showing her subverting stereotypes and turning stale clichés upside down. In September 2023, she embarked on a real adventure: with her project “Connecting the Dots“, she aims to combine musical and cultural exchange with environmental consciousness.
